GAMES IN ENGLISH PART 5


RED ROAD

            We had an activity with children about red this week. Red card was shown to children. The children walked on the right color road and chose 10 red lego from the mixed Legos.




YELLOW BALLS


            This week we played the game yellow balls. Two children are selected. A basket with colored balls is placed in the middle. Two yellow boxes are placed at a certain distance. Children take the yellow balls together with the command and put them in the yellow boxes. At the end of the game, the balls in the boxes are counted.





PUFFS IN THE BOWL

This week we played a game about three primary colors. We've put puffs in mixed colors and lengths in one coarse. We asked the children to put the yellow-red-blue color puffs with tongs in the same color bowl.

RED BALL

We had an activity with children about red this week. Red card was shown to children. The children chose the right color ball and blow them to the red cup.







T-SHIRTS

            This week we played a game about three primary colors. yellow-red-blue colors, cardboard we prepared t-shirts we hung on a rope. Children match the t-shirt by selecting the appropriate color of the mixed color latches. They put the latch in a t-shirt of the same color.





APPLE BASKET

            This week we played the apple basket. The children hang their apples in their necks in yellow and red. form a circle. A midwife stays in the middle. When the teacher calls the children a yellow or red apple, children with diamonds in that color are replaced. The child with the midwife also tries to grab a place. The midwife is in the middle.

SEA-GROUND

Draw a large circle on the ground or asphalt. 
Explain to the players that the Sea is the center of the circle, and the Ground is outside the circle. 
At the command “Sea!” The players jump in a circle, “Ground!” 
Jump out of it. The one who jumped out of the circle last becomes the leader.

>DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE

This kid-favorite is an excellent game for teaching strategic thinking. Participants sit in a circle, and one child walks around the outside tapping each head in turn and saying “duck.” Eventually they pick one child to be the “goose” and run around the circle to try to take that child’s place before the “goose” catches them. If they reach the end without getting tagged, the “goose” returns to their own seat and the original player continues around the circle.
As kids play this game more, they start thinking about how to pick a “goose” (such as someone who isn’t paying attention) who will give them a better chance of getting back to their seats without getting tagged. Duck, Duck, Goose teaches children to plan ahead and gives them immediate feedback on the quality of their decisions.

>RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT
Red Light, Green Light is great for teaching patience. After all, children don’t love to stand still. To play, one kid stands facing away at the other side of the field. The goal is to be the first to touch that person, without getting caught moving. When the person is facing away, that’s a green light and kids can move toward them. When the leader turns around to face the group, that’s a red light, and kids must stop moving. Anyone the leader catches still in motion has to go back to the starting line. To win at Red Light, Green Light, kids need to rein in their impulse to run forward, instead choosing a pace where they can stop instantly if the leader starts to turn. As they near the leader, they’ll also have to learn how to wait for the exact right moment to rush forward. If they misjudge and go too soon, they’ll have to start over from the beginning.
